Made from wood washed out by the sea in Italy, this stool is treated using Shou Sugi Ban, an ancient Japanese technique of preserving wood with fire. The boards are charred with a flame, then cleaned, washed, and finished with oil, producing a dark, durable surface that resists decay and insects. Available in 4 different shapes, the forms follow the natural contours of the sea-washed timber.
Touch With Eyes processes all wood by hand, without machines. The duo sources their materials directly from the Italian coastline, where the water and salt do work that no shop could replicate.
